CONTACTLESS BANK CARDS<\/h2>\n

Dbus has launched a system that enables users to pay bus fares using contactless bank cards on all bus routes in San Sebastian. <\/strong>The system is available on both day and night services.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Types of cards accepted by Dbus<\/span><\/h3>\n

The contactless bank cards accepted are VISA, Mastercard and American Express issued by any bank, provided they have contactless technology, and include the following symbol:\"simbolo\"<\/p>\n

You can also pay with Samsung Pay and Apple Pay, as well as bank mobile payment apps (Wallet) and telephone operators\u2019 apps. See complete information<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Where to validate contactless cards<\/span><\/h3>\n

You can validate your contactless card at all the ticket machines available on the bus. <\/strong>The machines are marked with the logos of VISA, Mastercard and American Express.<\/p>\n

Fares<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Fares paid with contactless cards and mobile apps cost \u20ac1.95 for the occasional day journey and the night (B\u00fahos) fare is \u20ac2.65. Each bank card or mobile application allows paying as many trips as the user wants and without commissions.<\/p>\n

Changing routes<\/span><\/h3>\n

Free interchange is allowed within a 30-minute interval when paying
\nby contactless.<\/p>\n

NOTE:<\/span> INCIDENTS WITH EMV CARDS\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

There have been several incidents involving bank cards when a passenger attempts to pay for a ticket on the bus. These have been analysed, and it has been confirmed that there are amounts pending payment to Dbus associated with these cards, which have been placed on blocklists.<\/span><\/p>\n

The cardholder may, however, be unaware of this situation. There is a maximum number of payments that can be made with each card without entering the PIN. After the maximum number of PINless transactions is reached, the issuing bank rejects the transaction. All cards with sums owed to Dbus stay on the blacklist until the amount is settled, meaning that the next time the passenger tries to pay with the card on the bus, the reader rejects it and displays an \u201cinvalid card\u201d message.<\/p>\n

When this happens, check for any unpaid journeys with your card and pay the amount due; this will automatically remove the card from the blacklist, ready to be used on Dbus buses.<\/p>\n
