In 2019 this service has been extended to all night services in order <b>to <\/b><b>improve<\/b> <b>women<\/b><b> and <\/b><b>under<\/b> <b>age\u2019s<\/b> <b>security<\/b> <b>on<\/b> <b>their<\/b> <b>way<\/b><b> home<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><b>What are the features of this <\/b><b>service?<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-33043 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/dbus.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/buho-dbus.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"195\" height=\"254\" \/><\/b><\/p>\n<p>This service allows passengers to alight between the official stops on the route on request, on certain sections of the route,<\/p>\n<p><b>In <\/b><b>which<\/b> <b>lines<\/b> <b>is<\/b> <b>it<\/b> <b>available<\/b><b>?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Stops on request are available in Dbus\u2019 night lines. Night lines run on <b>Fridays<\/b><b>, <\/b><b>Saturdays<\/b><b> and <\/b><b>the<\/b> <b>days<\/b> <b>before<\/b><b> red <\/b><b>days<\/b><b>, <\/b><b>after<\/b> <b>midnight<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Who can request a stop?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Women and minors under the age of 18<\/b>\u00a0may ask the bus to stop. The bus will only stop to\u00a0<b>allow passengers off.<\/b>\u00a0Passengers will not be allowed onto the bus when it stops.<\/p>\n<p><b>How to <\/b><b>request a stop?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Passengers must\u00a0<b>personally ask the driver to stop<\/b>\u00a0one stop ahead of the place where they wish to alight. Passengers requesting the bus stop must\u00a0<b>be ready to leave at the front of the bus<\/b>\u00a0and must only alight by the front door.<\/p>\n<p><b>Where can I ask the driver to stop?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The areas where request stops are allowed are defined in each night line. Please check line information for the complete list of streets.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dbus.eus\/en\/travelling-by-dbus\/routes-timetables\/\">&gt; See all lines<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>In what type of places is the bus able to stop?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In order for the bus to stop,\u00a0<b>there must be a pavement (minimum width 1,5 meters) and stopping must not cause a dangerous situation<\/b>. These are some of the main circumstances under which you will\u00a0<b>not<\/b>\u00a0be allowed to alight:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The bus may not stop within five meters of a corner, crossroads or fork in the road.<\/li>\n<li>The bus may not obstruct duly marked vehicle accesses to properties or hinder the normal use of pedestrian entrances or exits from buildings.<\/li>\n<li>The bus will not stop in places that hinder visibility of signs to users or require users to make manoeuvres.<\/li>\n<li>The bus may not stop on islands, median strips, level crossings, crossings for cyclists, pedestrian crossings or dropped kerbs.<\/li>\n<li>The bus will not stop when this is not permitted by law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>However,\u00a0<b>in case of doubt, the driver will decide whether to stop.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>How <\/b><b>can a person travelling in a wheelchair ask the driver to stop?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>When accessing the bus via the ramp, passengers travelling in wheelchairs should tell the driver where to stop.
